The No Tears project is a suite of jazz music commissioned by the Oxford American to commemorate the 60th anniversary of civil rights heroes The Little Rock Nine’s integration of Central High School in Arkansas. C/R worked with the OA to develop the visual program, featuring the historic Will Counts photograph of Elizabeth Eckford, who generously allowed her image to be used for the project. Materials include posters for a pair of performances in Little Rock, CD packaging (available here from Mahakala Music), as well as digital promotions.
